Right now, the business type you choose when creating your business account will help us get to know you better. It won't affect the features of your account or your experience on Pinterest. Choose the category that best represents your business.
You can always change this option later by going to the Settings page.
Claim your username
If you believe a company employee has already created an account with your business's trademark and you want to recover the account or transfer the username, we suggest first searching internally within your company for the account's contact information.
Pinterest respects the trademark rights of others. Accounts with usernames, board names or any other content that misleads others or violates another’s trademark may be updated, transferred or permanently suspended.
If you don't own a trademark for the username that you'd like to use, you should pick a different username. When you add Pins on Pinterest, other users see your business name, which appears on your profile, not your username. Your account's username simply determines your profile's address (i.e., pinterest.com/exampleusername).
Can I link my Facebook page to my business account
Right now, you can only link a personal Facebook profile to a Pinterest account. Facebook business pages can't be linked to Pinterest or be used to log into Pinterest.
If Facebook allows this type of connection in the future, we may add it to Pinterest as well!
Can I add multiple admins?
Right now, you can only have one admin on a business account at a time. We may offer the option to add multiple admins in the future.
How do people find my business account?
Pinners can find your business account if they search for you using our search bar.
If someone searches for your business, and you have verified your website on your business account, then the search result for your profile will display a verified checkmark.
Finally, you can always share your business’s profile link, e.g., pinterest.com/pinterest
