Set up your business account

Whether you’re an established brand, a non-profit organization, or a blogger, you can join Pinterest for free as a business. You can make a new business account or convert your current one.

We have two sets of terms—one for people and one for businesses. If you're using Pinterest for business purposes or as part of how you make a living, you should sign up for a business account and agree to our Business Terms of Service

Make a brand new business account:
  1. If you have a personal account, log out of it
  2. Go to Pinterest for Business and click Join as a Business
  3. Fill out details about your business and the person who'll manage the account
  4. Read and accept our Business Terms of Service and click Create Account
Convert your personal account to a business account:
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to Pinterest for Business and click Join as a Business
  3. Follow the steps above to set up your account then click Convert
Right now, business and personal accounts have the same features. If you sign up as a business, you'll get updates on future products and services we build for businesses.

Common questions:

How do I claim a username?
Can I link my Facebook page to my account?
Can I have multiple admins on my account?
How do people find my business?
If you think one of your employees has already created an account with your business trademark and you want to recover it or transfer the username, try searching within your company for the account's contact information.

If you'd like to request a trademark username already in use, fill out our trademark complaint form.

We respect the trademark rights of others. Accounts with usernames, board names or any other content that misleads others or violates another’s trademark may be updated, transferred or permanently suspended.

If you don't own a trademark for the username that you'd like to use, you should pick a different one. When you add Pins on Pinterest, other people see your business' name, not your username. Your account's username simply determines your profile's address (i.e., pinterest.com/exampleusername).

People can always find your profile by searching for the name of your business.

Right now, you can only link a personal Facebook profile to a Pinterest account.

You can't link to or log in with a Facebook business page. If Facebook allows this type of connection in the future, we may add it to Pinterest as well!

Right now, you can only have one email address on a business account at a time.

We recommend using a permanent email for your account, like info@yourcompany.com, to make sure you can always access Pinterest.

Pinners can find your business account using our search bar.

If you've verified your website, then people will see a verified checkmark by your name when they search for you.

You can also share the link to your profile to help people find it, ex: pinterest.com/pinterest.
